Cyclists across Greater Manchester are gearing up to back the campaign to have vital plans for extending Metrolink reinstated. Support has been flooding in for petitions run by the M.E.N. and local councils demanding that the government reverse its decision to scrap the Metrolink extension and put the plan back on track.

Overseas, cycling and public transport advocates have been seen working together on campaigns for the benefit of all. But they're probably more sensible & grown up than Victorian/Melbourne groups, whose behaviour has a most unsettling similarity to tribalism shown by footy fans.
