Spencer St project renamed Treasure Island

A bus service to carry pedestrians 200m past the Spencer St station redevelopment carried just two passengers in its first week. Wal King, of developer Leighton Holdings, said the service had cost his company about $400 to take each passenger. The bus, which runs every 10 minutes from 8am to 6pm, costs $45 an hour to run. Mr King said the $700 million Spencer St project was known as 'Treasure Island' because it was a source of enrichment at his company's expense.

WTF?
