Cyclists fight off grizzly bear
A US mountain biker fought off a grizzly bear that repeatedly charged him until a companion drove the animal off with pepper spray. Kirk Speckhals told today how he escaped his encounter without a scratch and only had four dirt marks from the bear's claws on his forearm, a punctured bicycle tyre and a bent rim.
